It’s here! Free online education for mandated reporters is now available. If you are a mandated reporter, you will want to take this training. Mandated reporters must protect kids and this training empowers them to do so effectively.

Missouri’s online mandated reporter training was recommended and developed by Missouri’s Task Force on the Prevention of Sexual Abuse of Children.

The training is divided into four lessons:

  1. Legal Requirements of the Mandated Reporter
  2. Child Abuse/Neglect Defined and Indicators of Child Abuse/Neglect
  3. Plan for Responding to Suspicions of Child Abuse/Neglect
  4. Effectively Reporting

The training is intended to be used as an ongoing resource for mandated reporters. Participants may choose to explore the supplemental resources provided throughout the training. This is a self-paced training, and participants should allow themselves three hours to complete.

While the training is designed for mandated reporters, it is available to anyone interested in protecting children.
