Advocate Professional Development Lunch and Learn – Engaging in Dialogue and Asking Powerful Questions
January 18 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
ENGAGING IN DIALOGUE AND ASKING POWERFUL QUESTIONS
Engaging in shared dialogue in our role as an advocate allows us to encourage space for equity and learning. When we can ask powerful questions to encourage dialogue, we are better able to engage with our peer advocates for shared learning. When we can lean into our curiosity with our MDT and with the families we serve, we open up space for multiple and new perspectives that helps us all to provide better service.
During this learning session on Engaging in Dialogue and Asking Powerful Questions advocates will:
- Understand how engaging in dialog can encourage, accountability, equity, and increased engagement
- Learn the basics of creating powerful, learner questions
- Practice the skill of leaning into curiosity and asking powerful questions
