Missouri KidsFirst and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services invite any medical provider interested in improving their ability to care for maltreated children to attend this training that will introduce participants to the basics of medical-forensic evaluations for child sexual abuse.
- Developed and delivered by board-certified child abuse pediatricians
- Approved by the National Children’s Alliance for providers working with a child advocacy center
- AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) and trauma hours
- Qualifies Missouri-licensed advanced practice nurses, physicians, and physician assistants for enhanced state reimbursement

Travel reimbursement: Missouri KidsFirst will reimburse reasonable travel costs for attendees that travel 50 miles or more one-way to attend this event. Please submit a reimbursement request with receipts to event coordinator.
The primary mission of the SAFE-CARE Network is to provide every child with concerns for abuse or neglect access to quality and compassionate medical care to ensure their own health and safety through proper diagnosis and treatment. SAFE CARE ECHO is a regularly scheduled webinar series providing ongoing case-based and didactic education to Missouri SAFE CARE providers. Each session will include a 15-20 minute didactic presentation, 1 case presentation, and case recommendations facilitated by our expert hub team. We invite you to come and experience this format for SAFE-CARE webinars and encourage you to register for the entire series or as many sessions as you would like to attend.
