Guidance Document
The multidisciplinary Education Subcommittee of the Missouri Task Force on the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse in collaboration with DESE and Missouri KidsFirst created Guidance and Training Materials to assist schools in implementing trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate sexual abuse training to students in accordance with Missouri law. (Section 170.045, RSMo)
The materials will be helpful for:
- local education agencies/schools/school personnel
- the surrounding community
- state and local agencies
- organizations that are involved in implementing child sexual abuse prevention programs in Missouri schools
