Hybrid – In-Person at CAC Services of Greater St. Louis (121 W Monroe Ave, Kirkwood, MO 63122) or via Zoom
This training has been approved by the National Children’s Alliance® to meet the updated standards for accreditation.
The hybrid Mind the Gap offering will be open to previously trained advocates who just need to cover the three new topics required in the 2023 Edition of the National Standards of Accreditation for Children’s Advocacy Centers. The training will be open to all Missouri advocates working with a CAC, including systems-based and community-based advocates.
The new topics are:
- Cultural responsiveness and addressing implicit bias in service delivery
- Caregiver resilience
- Domestic violence/family violence/children’s exposure to domestic violence and poly-victimization

Please note: If an advocate is participating in the three-day training for Advocates Working with a CAC from October 17-19th, they do not need this additional ½ day as these topics will be covered.
