Stewards of Children Facilitator Workshop Opportunity

Adults ending child sexual abuse together.
Empower adults in your community to prevent child sexual abuse. Stewards of Children was created by Darkness to Light and is the only nationally available adult program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes and change child protective behaviors. Watch Trailer

COST: $450 (Partial Scholarships Available)
Thanks to an investment from the Missouri Children’s Trust Fund a limited number of partial scholarships are available through Missouri KidsFirst.
Scholarship recipients will receive $200 towards the training cost, reducing the workshop cost to $250. To apply, complete the brief scholarship application (link below). The deadline to complete the scholarship application is Friday, February 1st. All applicants will receive notice of their application outcome from Missouri KidsFirst by Monday, February 4th.
Partial Scholarship Application
The cost of the workshop includes:
- 7 hours of instruction approved for CE credit by the National Association of Social Workers(NASW) and the program is available for 7 hours of National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) credit.
- Education on the philosophy and purpose of the Stewards of Children curriculum, mastery of the training curriculum, preparation for and promotion of the program, and instruction covering facilitator policies and procedures.
- All training materials including a Facilitator Manual, a Stewards of Children workbook, DVD, 5 Steps booklet, and 20 Stewards of Children workbooks (worth $200) for the first training.
