The goal of Missouri KidFirst’s Stewards of Children® child sexual abuse prevention program is to train train 5% of the adult population in every county and major metropolitan area in Missouri creating a tipping point that will shift the culture around prevention.
This map illustrates the progress toward tipping point in each county and region. The numbers in each county indicate the number of adults trained and the color indicates how close the county is to reaching 5% tipping point. (Data compiled from Darkness to Light’s database of authorized trainings)
As of January 1, 2022, just over 22,100 adults have been trained to identify, prevent and react responsibly to child sexual abuse in Missouri!
